> Project 311 is a private personal assistant and workspace for projects, email, calendar, tasks, files, messages, and owner-approved actions.

## What it is
- A private office for one owner and the people they trust.
- Two start modes: Assistant, or Technical Workspace + Assistant.
- A web conversation can prepare one private project and save only the Microsoft categories the owner names.
- Sensitive or outward actions use permission and approval checks.
- Compatible MCP clients can use the same server-owned action catalog.

## Current controlled-beta boundaries
- Invitation only; no open public signup or billing.
- Web first; native mobile apps come later.
- Microsoft availability depends on the beta environment.
- Passwords, provider secrets, and consent do not belong in chat.
- Formal legal terms and self-service export or deletion controls are release gates.
